Sandpoint Idaho

Sandpoint Idaho Lake Pend OreilleThe town of Sandpoint Idaho is the jewel of North Idaho. Located on the shores of pristine Lake Pend Oreille it’s hard to find a more beautiful spot to visit. It’s so beautiful that a lot of people decide to stay.

From Spokane it’s a scenic 80 mile drive through North Idaho on Highway 95.  On the way to Sandpoint there is also Silverwood Theme Park that is open during the summer months.

Sandpoint Idaho Lake Pend OreilleOf course there is a lot of fun outdoor activities that you can do if you are here for the day.

The city beach has a really nice swimming area that the kids will love. Be aware that dogs are not allowed in the park which is a bummer if you happen to have your 4-legged buddie along for the trip. In fact it doesn't seem as though Sandpoint is particularly dog friendly. Just something to keep in mind.
